EARTH3D is complete: what stays available

Twelve months, four countries and two major results. Here is what EARTH3D produced and where you can find it after the project.

EARTH3D started on 1 October 2025 with a simple observation: 3D printing with raw earth is advancing quickly, but training in it is not. Twelve months later, Commune Studio, Universidade da Beira Interior, Vertico and Vidipost have completed the project.

What the project produced

  • A Best Practice Guide of 3D printed earth projects from around the world, in English, Polish, Portuguese, Estonian and Dutch.
  • A free e-learning course with six modules and a certificate of completion.
  • A Networking Hub for people working on sustainable construction.
  • Two partner meetings, in Warsaw and Covilhã, an open focus group in Covilhã and a public presentation of the results in Warsaw.

What stays after EARTH3D

Thank you to the experts who shared their knowledge, to everyone who took part in our events, and to the Polish National Agency (FRSE) for its support. The conversation about building with earth continues on the platform.
