Project progress, educational insights and events, in the order they happened
The story of EARTH3D, from the start of the project to its results: project updates, educational articles and event reports.
This archive was put together at the end of the project. Each entry carries the date of the event it describes.

Project
A new Erasmus+ partnership from Poland, Portugal, the Netherlands and Estonia sets out to close the training gap in 3D printing with raw earth.

Events
The four EARTH3D partners met in Warsaw to plan the two resources the project would deliver: a best practice guide and a free online course.

Results
Many buildings are called earth buildings, but not all of them are. Before selecting projects for the Best Practice Guide, the partners defined what raw earth means and what a good example should teach.

Results
Nineteen 3D printed earth projects from around the world, analysed by material, technology and design, free to download in English, Polish, Portuguese, Estonian and Dutch.

Results
From first principles to printing equipment: how the free EARTH3D course is built, and what every module contains.

Results
Six modules, five languages and a certificate: the free EARTH3D course is open to everyone who wants to learn to design and build with 3D printed earth.

Events
At the University of Beira Interior, the partners reviewed a year of work and asked researchers, students and professionals what they need from training in 3D printed earth.
Events
Architects, engineers, students and educators came to Warsaw, or joined online, to try the EARTH3D platform and guide and to tell us how to improve them.

Project
Twelve months, four countries and two major results. Here is what EARTH3D produced and where you can find it after the project.
